My hearing has improved quite a bit with the device in my left ear. I know it won't be too long before I will need one in my right ear too (maybe).
On The Hearing Institute staff:
The young lady doing the testing made me feel totally at ease. I am sure it was quite difficult as I was quite nervous at first.
I appreciate the expertise and demeanor of Dr. Paparella. He is kind, gentle and caring. He never pressured me into getting a hearing device, but calmly told me it would help me a great deal - which it has.
Also, dealing with Goutham was a real treat. I felt like an idiot when first trying to get my hearing device in. He assured me I was doing fine and he was right - nothing to it. He was also right when advising me the fullness in my head (which was also driving me crazy) would go away in a couple of weeks. I now have no fullness to mention.
Also, I don't know if the dizziness I experienced before was from the "sudden deafness" or not. Since the hearing device, I have not experienced the severe dizziness I had before.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Your receptionists are also very cordial and friendly. An asset to any office. Hope I have not bored you with this long note - but I am very pleased. |
