My family encouraged me to get my hearing checked for years. At 76 years of age, I decided I would do so, finally, with resistance.

All my concerns prior – for example – will they be cumbersome? Will they be difficult and time consuming to place in my ears daily?

Will they show with my shorter hairstyle? Will I get so much background noise that it will be irritating? These concerns and others have proven to be non-existent. Now when I visit my family and friends, I can actually join in conversations because I hear so much better. As the saying goes, if I had only known then what I know now-I would have taken the necessary steps to better hearing sooner.
